It’s a Nissan No Go – But I Paid Cash in Brisbane

Normally I don’t buy cars that don’t run.

I make a living buying cars that have very little, or no registration at all, but generally cars that won’t run are for someone else.

Usually a mechanic might be more interested in these sorts of offerings if you have them.

Or if they don’t run and have been sitting for a while, and they are unlikely to sell anywhere, then the wreckers might be the go.

Have you seen the ads for trucks that will come and pick up your car in Brisbane for free?

Maybe try one of them. Some may even pay you $30 or $50 to take it off your hands.

Anyway, back to the Nissan Pulsar.

I had Crystal call me wanting to get rid of her car.

This is it below:

As you can see in the picture, the paint is fading.

The battery has a problem and is not charging.

It’s not in “great” condition, but it is okay.

She called and I was honest in telling her I wasn’t that keen on a car that didn’t run.

But she was certain based on hers and friend’s opinions that it was just a battery problem and one of the tyres has a leak.

She wanted to sell it today so she actually put it on a trailer and brought it to my office at Coorparoo!

For $100 the car was purchased as is.

Unregistered and certainly not roadworthy.

But with a little effort, it’ll be back on the road sometime soon.

Does your car run and you want to sell it? Or based on the story above maybe it is close to running! Call me on 0411 362 229.
